The most famous proponent of Hypergamy is Rollo Tomassi and he explains the concepts well. However, he uses complicated terms, and doesn’t do much to contextualise the concepts in the Asian dating scene. Here we’ll explain it simply and in a way that can help you.
Hypergamy refers to the female sexual strategy for finding the best mate. Women are wired to date / mate with males who have equal or high sexual market value (SMV) than them. They do not date / mate with males with lower SMV. It is an evolutionary instinct they have that serves to ensure that their genes are continued with the healthiest genetic combination possible (highest quality male genes she can secure).

Hypergamy doesn’t care
Hypergamy is meant to put the woman in the best position possible to produce genetically superior offspring. It is a positive thing. Any daughters you may have would use hypergamy to ensure your genes are continued with the greatest chance of survival. However, it has a dark side.
Hypergamy can be a bitch because it can cause “branch swinging”. This is when women move from one male to another who is a better option. In the process of branch swinging she can ruin lives. And you can’t blame her. Why wouldn’t you move on to the better option?
Picture this. You’re a great man (decent income) and you just married a woman. Out of the blue at work your wife attends a meeting with a billionaire who’s in decent shape. He takes a liking to your wife. They meet and work together for some time and he tells her he’s fallen in love with her. He’ll promise to make her the happiest woman alive, to give her his all. Why the fuck would she stay with you. Hypergamy doesn’t care!
Hypergamy can also harm the woman. Branch swinging can fail and it is a common story where a woman attempts to branch swing to a superior man only later to find out that he doesn’t want to commit to her. It is so common that she tries to go back to the guy she just left. Sometimes he takes her back (wimp) and sometimes he doesn’t. I repeat, it is too common. She can spoil a decent relationship to chase the better one. So don’t be surprised if she tries to pull that on you. Just smile and say bye. She played the game and she lost. That’s life. If she won, be happy for her and you go find someone else.
Multiple Wives
You must be aware of those Asian millionaires with multiples wives. Not all of them are muslim, in fact, they’re mostly Chinese. How do you think they get away with it? Knowingly or not, it’s because of Hypergamy. Women would rather share a high SMV male rather than be stuck with one low SMV male.
You can do this too. If you were worthy enough, a woman will stay with you and tolerate you fucking around – maybe even tolerate you diverting resources to another family you started with another woman (in the case of marriage).
This is easier to pull off in the dating stage. Dating multiple women at the same time and having them be aware of it is can be a very fulfilling lifestyle. Less commitments than marriage, steady stream of sexual access and you can break up without them feeling too bad (I mean, you’re not married) and you wouldn’t have to pay monthly alimony payments.
To the Men
Use Hypergamy to your advantage and present yourself with the highest SMV possible to pull off dating multiple women. Do not feel bad about it. Own it. Embrace it. Do not let the world tell you how to live your life. Take advantage of her need for a higher SMV male.
Understand that there will always be someone better for her than you. She is not yours, it is just your turn. Have this mindset and she can’t hurt you (too much) if she leaves. Have this mindset and you’ll become a better lover. It gives you an abundance mindset. It means you’re okay if she leaves. If you have this abundance mindset she’ll be able to detect it and she’ll treat you better as a consequence. She’ll know that if she fucks up she’s out. She knows that you can replace her like THAT. She’ll try harder to please you. Just be worth her respect and admiration first.
To the Women
Do not be ashamed of your Hypergamy. Use it to improve your life to the best possible standard you can. Secure the best person as a mate. Not just financially, but someone who you respect and emotionally fulfils you. Unfortunately, these kinda men are hard to come by. Most of the time they’re successful and worthy of respect, but since they have options they won’t commit to you. This is what you can do to get him to commit to you.
